 In the heart of the historic center of Morelia, one of the
most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico, is the
Cantera Diez Hotel Boutique, an old colonial
building dating back to 1622, which has been skillfully
restored preserving most of the original architectural
designs.
The hotel used to be a convent, and in 1708 Agustin de
Iturbide the emperor of Mexico at that time, got married
to Ana Maria Huarte in the chapel. The property is not
